Tim and Jake may be Deaf roommates sharing an apartment in the city, but they are polar opposites – each with very different worldviews on what it means to be Deaf in a hearing world. When it comes to taking out the trash, they take a comical and insightful dive into their trash and their perceptions of each other’s lives.

ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHTS

James Caverly and Andrew Morrill are the co-founder of a new company, Go Ahead, which elevates and fosters new works by Deaf artists in the American theatre. Both frequently collaborate together, and they have presented new works in Off-Off and Off-Broadway companies: TRASH, produced by Out of Box Theatrics at Perelman Arts Center, THANK YOU, RYAN, FOR A CLEAN MICROWAVE, at Arts Nova, and IF DOGS COULD TALK at New York Theatre Workshop.
